The beautiful island with the beautiful beach and scenery as far as the eyes can see is what can be got from Gili Meno. If travelers wish to spend quite time and relax, this island is a great place. This island will also be the perfect place for honeymoon destination. This island is the part of three Gilis and known as the center island. If visitors feel like to waste time by walking around, it is possible to surround the island in less than two hours just by walking. Exploring the island such as exploring the small shallow lake in the island will also be fun to be done.
Location: Northwest offshore of Lombok
Opening Day/Hour: Every day, boats available from 9 AM to 2 PM
Entrance Fee: Entering the island is free of charge, but some attractions will require entrance fees.
Street Direction to Location: Visitors must reach Gili Meno by boats from Bangsal pier. There are only two boats scheduled, one in 9.00 AM and the other one is in 14.00 PM. The boats will be charged for Rp.20,000 each person. Visitors may also hire boats from locals for Rp. 175,000 or Rp. 320,000 per boat. It will take 20 to 30 minutes to reach Gili Meno.
Do n Don’ts: Visit the birds’ park or the small and shallow lake in the island. Visitors may also swim in the crystal clear water. Don’t go snorkeling without guidance from the locals because the wave often so big and the snorkelers might get swept by the stream.
